Bykownia, Kharkov,
Katyn, Miednoye
Polish Cemeteries of the WWII is the name of burial places of Polish Prisoners of War murdered in the spring of 1940. Much effort was devoted to fulfill dreams of victims' families: to design, construct and finally – to hallow these cemeteries. Cemeteries in Kharhov, Katyn and Miednoye were completed in 2000, whereas that in Kiev-Bykovnia was open in 2012. Up until today, there are other nameless and unknown burial places of several thousand victims murdered in 1940 and left for over 70 years somewhere on inhuman land.
